Julius Caesar Strauss: 1857-1924

Known professionally as J.C. Strauss, he maintained and ran one of the most lavish and successful commercial portrait studios in St. Louis, Missouri at the turn of the 20th Century. Please visit the site of the late Tom Yanul for wonderful background on this important St. Louis photographer.
