A Photograph based on a Famous Painting

Painted around 1636 and known as the “Baby Stuart”, the original painting is a portrait of  the infant James II, painted by someone in the circle of  Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641) and held in the Royal Collection Trust in England. From Wikimedia Commons: “This charming study of the young Duke of York derives from the portrait of The Three Eldest Children of Charles I (Galleria Sabauda, Turin), which was painted by Van Dyck in 1635, as a gift from Queen Henrietta Maria to her sister Christina Duchess of Savoy.” The work can be found here.
