This bronze equestrian statue of Giuseppe Garibaldi by the Tuscan sculptor Emilio Gallori is located atop the Janiculum Hill  in Rome. The monument was inaugurated on September 20, 1895. The dome of St. Peter’s Basilica can be seen at far left of frame. The statue itself weighs 15 tons.
