A cabinet card photograph from around 1900 is printed: Ferd Frey Söhneindicating his business was succeeded by his sons after his death. However, lacking a genealogy, it has not been determined who these sons were or if someone else took over. The card’s verso included the following details: Medals won at: NUREMBERG 1896, FREIBURG 1897, STUTTGART 1899. Also engraved on the card was that photographic work by the Frey studios had been acquired by the Royal and Grand Ducal Museums in Stuttgart, Karlsruhe and Darmstadt. Address: Rathausgasse 5,  Heilbronn, Germany, Telephone 482. A later cabinet card from this studio dated 1906 has further been located by this website: it is not known how long the business lasted.
