As indicated on this mount, Ernst Müller was the successor of the photographic studio of Hahn Nachflg, at the time located in Dresden at Ferdinandstraß 11.

The professional photographer Müller ran a studio in Dresden from 1885, succeeding the photographer Hahn. Lit.: Communication from the Dresden State Art Collections, Kupferstichkabinett. (1.) translated

Later cabinet cards for Müller lists an address for: REICHENBERG, nur Bismarckplatz 16, and indicating he was an imperial court photographer.
