Dorothy Tucker Reading and Posing Outside Home

Dorothy Tucker Reading and Posing Outside Home

This series from the same sitting of Dorothy Tucker (1899-1986) shows her reading and posing outside the family home, then at 90 Third Street in the New Dorp section of Staten Island. Dating ca. 1908-09, these high-key prints may have been deliberate as the final result, or simply test prints, as one other known example from this series is much darker.

Charles Rollins Tucker, 1868-1956.
