This unsigned and undated silver gelatin photograph depicts a woman holding a bowl, possibly a self portrait. We have placed it in the date range of 1900-1920 based on the pictorial aesthetics of the photograph as well as the style of dress and accessories worn by the model. Purchased from former owner in Vashon, Washington in 2011 who stated photograph was believed to be the work of photographer Adelaide Hanscom (1875-1931).

Handling creases to print as well as several areas of hand-spotting on print recto, including behind right shoulder area and beneath nose of model.
