A New Jersey Road

A New Jersey Road

Editorial comment on this plate:

We present our readers this week with a typical bit of New Jersey road from an excellent negative by our friend, Mr. W.H. Richardson, a skilful amateur photographer of New York.
Mr. Richardson has favored us with two or three previous examples of his artistic work. Like the other pictures, this one was made with the Henry Clay camera on a tripod, with a Carbutt plate developed with Mr. Andresen’s amidol. The reproduction is a photogravure that amply brings out the excellent qualities of the negative.
