Our frontispiece, this week, is from a negative by Berkeley Allen, an enthusiastic amateur photographer of artistic taste in the selection of his views. This picture was found in a glen in Westcolang Park, Pike County, Pa. The negative was a little hard, but the beauty of the view tempted us to overlook that technical defect.
The reproduction by Mr. Gutekunst is deserving of praise.
