Silver birch trees line a wide pathway through Wimbledon Common in southwest London. The artist is believed to be Margaret Florence Banks: 1872-1949. 

Banks was born on 4 July in Everton, Liverpool, England. England & Wales Census records from 1891, 1901 & 1911 give her occupation as dressmaker. As of this writing, no other details could be gleaned from secondary or other sources regarding her work as an amateur photographer.
