This is the front cover for the 1910 yearly volume of the Dutch photographic journal Geïllustreerd Weekblad voor Fotografie (Illustrated Weekly Magazine for Photography). First issued in 1894, it was the 17th and final year for the publication, before it was purchased and combined with a competitor photographic journal: Lux. Believed to be in the publisher’s original cloth over boards issued binding, the cover additionally features an inset detail photogravure from the volume’s first plate: Rijplandschap te Laren ( Hoarfrost Landscape in Laren) by Barend Arendsen.
