Amateur photographer Alfred Buschbeck became president of the Vienna Camera Club in 1893 which:
“signaled the beginning of a period of dynamic regeneration; the club strengthened its internal structures and seeking to enhance its image still further, turned with growing confidence and resolve to other countries.” 1.
In the same year (1893), he became an early member of the British Linked Ring where his pseudonym was “Herald”.
