This small leaf depicting a Camera Obscura set within a type of emblematic crest had been previously removed from a German volume, believed to be circa 1650-1680. The leaf verso is printed in Old German script, some of which can be seen here through the recto margins. On bottom within crest is believed to be printed:

On verso at upper margin is printed:
