Mr. A. v. Dijk of Amsterdam, well known to our readers, kindly gave us two photos for reproduction, the review of which appeared in No. 36 of the Weekblad.

We assure you that these exceptionally beautiful plates will be received with pleasure. The photo “Zorgen des leven” was taken in the afternoon between 2 and 3 o’clock, with a cloudy sky with aplanaat. Exposure approximately ½ second, set on the windowsill and then the little one was placed at the window to prevent her from having to pose for too long, then waited a while until a good impression could be observed.
