Title: Twilight

I was delighted and puzzled to discover this photogravure: “Twilight”, by the important Belgian photographer Gustave Marissiaux (1872-1929) included with the German photographic journal Photographische Centralblatt from 1900. Surprised because I also own a “later” Chine-collé version identified as “Crépuscule d’Hiver” taken in 1908 and published the same year as part of Marissiaux’s tour-de-force gravure folio known as Visions D’Artiste.
