Einsame Strasse | Lonely Road

A bleak winter landscape shows a row of trees alongside a pond or lake. The road in the title perhaps beyond the line of trees.

Hans Winkelmann of Berlin was an engraver by trade and a member of the Free Photographic Association of Berlin. He was a student of Otto Rau.

Kürschner’s German Literature Calendar for 1922 carried the following advertisement:
