Titled in hand of photographer below image: Just below “The Desired”  - Buffalo Park -

A variant of this photograph printed slightly darker is contained in the 1908 Irene Hood photograph album held at Yale’s Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library. See :  Buffalo Park in December holidays, the second to last photograph in this album.

The reference to “The Desired” believed to be in reference to the 1902 summer home “La Hacienda” built for the photographer’s brother John L. Jerome (1854-1903) by architect Frederick J. Sterner. (1862-1931)
