Marjorie Bullock—Daughter of Photographer John G. Bullock

Marjorie Bullock (LeBoutillier) 1889-1979 was the first of four children born to photographer John Griscom Bullock, (1854-1939) one of the founding members of the American Photo-Secession movement and wife Rebecca Malin Downing Bullock. (1865-1945) From a young age, Marjorie was a popular subject for her father’s camera.

Candid photographs of a person described as “Pictures Taken Sunday after Navy Game ca. 1911”, showing a woman believed to be Marjorie Bullock dressed in this identical coat and hat, are held in the John G. Bullock photographs collection at the Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery, University of Maryland, Baltimore County.
