The Tucker brothers, born to photographer Charles Rollins Tucker and his wife, the former Mary Carruthers, are shown playing with their toy blocks at about four and five years of age. The children are known to have gone by their middle names- “Robert” looks on at right while his younger brother “Jerry” assembles blocks on the floor. Their dates are below. Other examples of C.R. Tucker’s work can be found on this website, who extensively chronicled the life of daughter Dorothy Tucker in photographs from an infant to a young woman.
