Portrait Studie

The Portrait Photographer, Adolf Elnain (1877-1945) had studios in Bad Homburg, Wiesbaden and Dusseldorf. The largest in the Wiesbaden Wilhelmstrasse.

Adolf Elnain was one of the pioneers of a new art photography. In contrast to the former artificial and stilted Hofphotographie show his portraits of the individual personality of the people. For this purpose, he held long conversations to know the characters of his clients, and used the platinotype as printing methods. (1.)
