For the next monthly issues our plates are ready, but since we were able to get our hands on a beautiful three-colour print for the Weekly, based on an original colour photo by Prof. Miethe, we had to wait for the necessary copies to be ready and hope to be able to offer them to our subscribers with this issue.

If, against all expectations, due to all kinds of circumstances beyond our control, the plate is not with this issue, please excuse us! It will certainly arrive next week.

Perhaps this warning is superfluous, but we thought we would write a postcard to our subscribers about the unpleasant sensation of missing the plate, in order to relieve them. “It is still a lovely blooming time, now are the days of roses, we chose as the title.
